High water and unfavourable weather conditions are hampering angling activity in many areas but despite this Eamonn  Conway is still finding some good trout fishing on the upper reaches of the Fane and its tributaries. Despite the high water Eamonn has reported a number of good catches on recent outings with many of the trout falling to weighted nymphs. Where many anglers would give up Eamonn always is willing to go that extra yard to find some nice trout who are willing to sample his excellent nymphs. Eamonn has reported lots of trout taken with many of them small but an occasional nice one has obliged to help keep him interested.
If you fancy a days guided trout, pike or salmon fly-fishing, Eamonn can be contacted at [email protected]
Eamonn is also an APGAI-Ire casting instructor, so if you want to learn to fly fish or improve your casting technique why not drop him an email at the above address.
