Cashel Trout Fishery report by Marlene McLaughlin
The weather has been quite chilly this weekend but this has not deterred a few anglers from trying out their fly fishing techniques. Young Shane Irwin (Dungiven) managed one trout from the bank after changing to an intermediate line at the end of the day. Pat Campbell (Upperlands) used brown sedges to hook and release four beauties while local anglers Martin Bradley and John Hasson (Dungiven) released three and four respectively using olive damsels and wets to make their catches.
