Minister checks out angling facilities around Mullingar

MINISTER IN MULLINGAR. Last week Minister of State Fergus O, Dowd checked out some of our Angling facilities here in and around Mullingar.One of the highlight of the trip was watching the trout being stripped of spawn in Cullion Fish farm by Manager Andrew Golden. This hatchery produced some beautiful brown and rainbow trout yearly, which are stocked into local Lakes.

MULLINGAR.IE. Last Wednesday November 7^th the launch of Visit Mullingar .ie was held in The Atrium, Westmeath County Council Building. This new website will promote, Tourism, Business, and Social Community Activities in the town so I am told. I wish the Mullingar .ie all the best, and looking forward to helping them out on the Angling scene as we drift into 2013 and yet another Angling season.
