Vincent O’Rourke reports:

Summer eased into Autumn and suddenly the weather improved to ideal angling conditions on Sheelin last week. The sedge fishing is still good but seems to be easing back a little. Niall Carpenter from Balbriggan had the best fish of the week just over 4 ½ pounds which he caught on Friday evening just off Wilson’s Point fishing a wet daddy.  Niall had three other fish for the week all in the 1.5lbs area.
