The Leinster Coarse Fishing Federation
The Leinster Coarse Fishing Federation held a one day competition on Rockfield and good mixed bags of fish were recorded. Mr. Woodhouse came first with 24lb 6ozs; 2nd. Matt Kenny 22lb 2ozs; 3rd. Sean Ward 12lb 10ozs.
Inishmuck, Trinity, Killykeen
Evening fishing is proving to be productive with plenty of Bream Roach, Tench and good Perch being caught in the Cavan area. Inishmuck, Trinity, Killykeen are all giving good bags of fish.
Corduff and Brackley
Good Bream is being caught on Corduff and Brackley while the river between Kiltybarden and St. Johns is giving plenty of Hybrids. Overnight fishing on Corduff is producing good bags of Bream.
Cootehill and Mullinary
Good reports of Tench Fishing in the Cootehill area with Bairds Shore and Mullinary fishing particularly well.
