Alice Murtagh from the Corlesmore office reports that the NCFFI All Ireland competition was held on Sunday 28th. July.  Eighty two anglers took part in the competition and they fished Killykeen  at Restaurant and Green Bank; Sandy Point Gartnanoul; Killykeen Boat House; Eonish Ivans Field and Donkey Field.

  • 1st.        John Potters      27.400kg
  • 2nd.       Lee Simmons    26.950kg
  • 3rd.        Ian Kelsey         25.120kg
  • 4th.        Shane Dunne     23.400kg
  • 5th.        Nick Mazuck     21.660kg
  • 6th.        Larry Parkes      18.300kg

John Connolly of NCFFI tells us that the top 6 all fished the Boathouse stretch and the green bank.

Emma MacMahon with a weight of 5.6Kgs won the ladies competition from Eonish.

The biggest weight from Eonish was Rory Dunne’s 11.7Kg catch and Paul McCaul had the biggest weight of 7.02Kgs from Sandy point.
