Fergus Lynch, IFI limerick, reports that coarse angling has sparkled in most of the small lakes on the main River Shannon through the North Shannon area. Dave Steward and his friend both from Aberdeen had good fishing from the fishing platform in Carrick town – nice mixed bags of Roach, Roach Bream Hybrids and good perch were caught by the Scottish duo.
