Ken O’Neill, IFI reports that shore angling on the Clare coast has been challenging due to weather conditions. Strong winds persisting. Some Mackerel are being caught from time to time – but in general they have been few and far between. The most recent report is that there is a strong run of mackerel along the Carrigaholt – Loop Head coast.
The Fanore / Lisdoonvarna Sea angling Club will be hosting a Sea angling Shore Competition in the next few weeks at Ballyreen.
