Richie Ryan of Eire Bass reports on unusual movement of mullet in Cork this year. The guide says that early January saw the return of the elusive species to certain estuaries only for them to disappear for an unusually long spell. Perhaps it is the cold weather that is affecting their movement he muses. He enjoyed two days fly fishing during the mid week dry spell.
