2013 Season – 17th January to 30th September.

4th May 2013: The water level is now approaching 3 feet on the gauge at Johnston’s.  Running clear after last nights rain.

On Thursday brown trout were rising one angler returned 5 from 10 to 11 inches – nice trout.

No doubt there are fish running the river but it is still difficult enough to catch one.

​Prospects: Excellent conditions for bank Holiday weekend.  Fresh drop of water and running clear.
