Situated one mile from Enniskerry and half a mile southbound from the Powerscourt Estate, Tinnahinch fly fishing centre offers a quiet mature wooded valley, with a lake which is spring fed, comprising of four acres with cystal clear water well laid out with five islands, peninsulas and coves. The fish are hard fighting, fully finned rainbow trout many of which are over 12lb in weight.

Hugh Duff tells us “With the weather showing definite signs of improvement there is some excellent fishing to be had currently at the gin clear waters of Tinnahinch. Plenty of rainbow trout from 5 to 10lbs were caught during the week and with the current mild spell prospects for the coming week are very good.
Regarding flies it has been the usual blobs and attractor patterns that are proving most effective but with spring in the air the fish will soon be looking up and moving to naturals at the surface.
Lessons and tackle hire are available on request.
