Alice Murtagh from IFI in Corelesmore reports that a new club “The Feeder Fishing Club” has been set up for Eastern European anglers and they held their first match on Saturday 12th July on Glasshouse.  Organizers Ramas and Karlo assembled 22 anglers.  Prizes were for heaviest weights and for heaviest fish.  First place went to Robertas Zilaitis with 7.45kg, second place went to Piotras Aleksandravicius with 4.25kg.  Robertas Zilaitis  also won prize for heaviest fish (0.900gms) The club is newly formed and hopes to cater for match anglers from Russia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The Flint party who fished all local lakes in the Arva area report excellent fishing everywhere with good mixed bags everyday including Bream, Tench, Hybrids and Roach.  There are plenty of good Roach being caught in Gartylough.

All lakes in the Cootehill area are reported to be giving good bags of fish with good fishing on Bairds Shore, Bream Rock and Sillan.  The Dromore River at Abbots is also giving good bags of fish with plenty of Hybrids, Roach and Skimmer Bream.

Good Tench fishing is reported in the Ballinamore area while the canal between Kiltybarden and St Johns and Lock 7 is giving good bags of nice Bream.  Kiltybarden along road is also giving good bags of fish.
