Having organised the match, looked after everyone royally and presented the prizes, Sheila and Liam are still working hard this evening getting the results and information out on today’s great event.

As promised, the full results of today’s event are just in

Sheila and Liam report that the draw took place at the Old Coach Inn, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. With the team captains drawing the pegs for their teams, the draw went off smoothly and all anglers were at their pegs no later than 10am.

Fishing was from 11am to 4pm. Sections fished were Concra Upper, White Island, Black Island & Yellow Island. The weather was favourable today with only a few light showers, with the sun even showing its face for a while. All anglers caught with weights varying from 9.330kgs down to just a couple of grams.

A minutes silence was held before the presentation as a mark of respect for the tragic accident that happened on Lough Ree during the week.

Ballybay Angling would like to thank the 29 teams (116 anglers) who turned up to fish the team event today on Lough Muckno.

We would also like to thank Raymond Watters & his staff of the Old Coad Inn for their kind hospitality.

Thanks also to all who helped with the weigh ins etc, Darren for doing the pools & the I.A.D.A. for supplying the weigh slings & scales.There were individual pools as well which was done by Darren Fairhurst,

There was 100% payout of all monies taken in today for both for the teams and the pools.
