Munster’s Coarse Angling Council hosted the annual Jackie Lennox Munster Open on Inniscarra Lake 25/26/27 October with 30 anglers fishing on the Coachford Greenway.
The weather was not great with the anglers battling against extremely windy conditions each day. Winds coming in the from the South West at 30 to 50mph made the fishing very difficult and the weights lower than expected. Feeder fishing for skimmers was the most successful method, with some roach caught on the whip and a few on the pole!
Congratulations to Shane Dunne Festival Winner with 31.200kg! Runner-up was Dara Finnegan 20.450kg, 3rd Graham Worley 20kg, 4th Steve Thorpe 19.950kg and in 5th place Kevin Norcliffe with 18.900kg. Well done to all the prize winners.

Inniscarra Lake TDL promotes angling and associated activities on the reservoir; including the new Coachford Greenway – a multi purpose amenity providing access to a 2.8km international standard stretch of water for anglers. The ILTDL includes an angling section responsible hosting a number of festivals throughout the year.
