The NCFFI are hosting the annual Senior Canals Championship on the Grand Canal at Daingean over the weekend of the 3rd & 4th of May. The championship, sponsored by Waterways Ireland and the biggest and best canal event of the year attracts anglers from all over the country including anglers from the UK. It commands a high standard of fishing and with the water warming up some great catches are expected.
