James O’Doherty became the youngest ever angler to represent Ireland at senior level while Adam Maguire and Harry Whitehead were on junior international duty as the Erne Anglers Club’s Junior Angler development continues to bear fruit.

The trio were included in the Ireland team for the recent Celtic Cup, fished on Magiscroft Fishery near Stirling in Scotland.

Adam Maguire (Lisnaskea) and Harry Whitehead (Kesh), both 15 years old, were included in the eight strong Junior team while 16 year old James O’Doherty (Enniskillen) became the youngest ever angler to represent the senior team at the same event….
