Slaney River Trust reports on April 6th, 2014:

Before the rain came on Wednesday the fishing on the Slaney was starting to pick up in particular with fish being met upstream as shown by Kevin Keagan’s lovely 9 lber off the Tullow Club water (photo courtesy of Thomas Nolan Photography). Lower down stream Mossy Browne at Tombrick finally got off the mark with a sea liced 10 lber  and Antony Doran had 2 fish on Clohamon on Tuesday the largest being 96cm (close to 20lbs!). The rain which came on Wednesday put a stop to the party with just a couple of fish met on Sunday. If the water starts to drop next week we should see the lower beats and Enniscorthy start to come into play.
