Ian Curry was back on the water last Saturday, fishing once again with his brother Richard and Decus. Having enjoyed their last trip in pursuit of tope so much, they were really looking forward to replicating their success.
They launched from Kilkeel with high hopes but in the end it was a quiet day with just one success in the dying minutes. Fishing the same spot as last week in their Orkney, Decus hooked into a fine tope which took a lot of playing to bring to the boat. Eventually he landed and released unharmed the shark which measured 5.5 feet.
