Ruairi Coleman from the Swords Angling Centre reports that there have been a good number of species taken recently by anglers fishing on the East Coast. There have been plenty of smooth-hounds around Dublin the last week or two. On a recent outing Noel O’ Shea was in with me, he was part of a group that fished out of Malahide. The group had dogs, smoothies, ray and gurnards.

For up to date angling information and a range of top gear why not drop into Ruairi at his new shop in Swords. He stocks a full range of sea, game, pike and coarse angling tackle and bait. Swords Angling Centre is located in Applewood Village next door to the Orchard Public House.

Ruairi can be contacted by telephone at 087 707 0237 or by email at [email protected]
