Eamonn Hayes, skipper of the Autumn Dream which sails daily from Kilmore Quay in Wexford reports on the fishing in his area:
The Reef fishing is still very good with plenty Cod & Pollack on them , Ling are increasing as the tides ease. I haven’t done any trips on Ray Tope Bass or Flat’s yet , as the Mackerel are very scarce but had a couple doz today so will be targeting all species from now on . Best Cod over the last few days was just under 10 lb and Pollack into double figures.
The forecast for the of this week and over the coming weekend is very good. The forecast for the coming few days is good enough, with light variable winds.
More regular reports on the fishing from now on as I am back full time now.
