Cloghan Lodge Salmon Fishery, River Finn has John McLaughlin reporting:

Mark Mc Cloone from Derry had a lovely clean 8 pounder on the fly from the Glenmore Bridge pool on Saturday the 29th of March in pretty low water. Shane Lockhead had a fine fish of at least 10 lbs from the Grilse Streams on Friday evening, the 4th of April. Shane’s fish fell to a small shrimp fly, again in relatively low water. Barney Winters from Strabane, opened his account for the season with a nice 7lbs fish from the Graveyard pool on the Ivy Bridge Beat on Sunday.
