Pawel Orlow from the Fishmaniak club has reported on their last pike boat competition in Fishamniak Pike League in 2015 which was held last weekend (15th November) on River Erne in Belturbet. The competition started at 8.30am following a meeting and short briefing. Each team got a club measuring tape so that each fish captured could be measured. Despite a terrible weather – strong wind and rain – the event was quite successful. 12 enthusiastic contestants took part on this venue and managed to catch 9 pike all together. The biggest pike was caught by Janis – 94cm of length.

The result of the competition are as follows:
1st place – Hary – 2 pike ( 130cm of total lenght)
2nd place – Henryk Walkowiak – 2 pike (129cm)
3rd place – Igor – 2 pike ( 113cm)
4th place – Janis – 1 pike (94cm) – the biggest fish
5th place – ukikkbzk – 1pike (73cm)
6th place – jjaanek – 1 pike (44cm).
