Eileen Carroll from IFI Macroom reports that 2 salmon were caught on the Bandon last week. The recent heavy rain from should hopefully improve things.
The Bandon Angling Association reported great water in the river today on Tuesday of this week. The flood had peaked at 0.75m in Bandon and shouldn’t rise much more. It was dropping fast in Dunmanway. Visibility is OK and good for fishing from now on, with spinner at least. Prospects for the week look excellent.
