John Quinlan from Thatch Cottage Ireland reports that his client Ian Herbert’s first ever day lure fishing for bass went pretty well, to say the least. On aturday, 08 august, Ian managed to catch 10 to around bass 4.5lbs.  Later in the day he went on to catch a lovely fish on a surface popper that put a smile on his face…

Ian Herbert was happy with this bass that fell to a surface popper.
