Guide Richie Ryan reports on continued success in catching mullet on the fly in the Cork area. Whilst the numbers of fish are not as good as previous years there is still fun to be had fishing for the Irish Bonefish he says.

Richie hasn’t missed the fact that Cork anglers are starting to catch a fair number of bass from the shore. Good friends of the guide and bass gurus Pat O Shea and Andrew Davies have had a good few bass over the last few days in the Cork area. Richie said he was going to give Andy the truth serum but wasn’t very hopeful of finding his secret mark !

Richie went on to catch one in Cork Harbour and took a quick snap as evidence !
