Eamonn Conway has been in touch with his first report for the 2015 season. Eamonn says that the River Fane and the Annalee River are fishing well at moment. Fishing in the mornings is a bit on the slow side because of the cold nights. However, during the day hatches of march browns are taking place everywhere but unfortunately the trout are still reluctant to take them. I have found the technique of using nymphs under an indicator is working well and also streamers on a sinking line fished slow is producing fish. Hopefully, when the temperature picks up, we can expect some nice dry fly fishing.
