Lough Arrow Fish Preservation Association and District Angling Club ran a competition on Easter Sunday on the basis of single heaviest fish. Sixteen anglers fished the competition and 10 fish were caught.
- 1st Prize – Adrian Murphy Cloghans 3.478 lbs.
- 2nd Prize – Thomas Walsh Lough Arrow 2.114 lbs.
- 3rd Prize – John Walsh, Cloghans 1.542 lbs.
- 4th Prize – Francis McSharry Kinlough/Rosinver 0.932 lbs.
