If you are interested in waggler fishing – now is the time to learn it!

Our next MINI MADCAPS coaching session will take place on Saturday 18th June and cover the theory and set-up for fishing the waggler. Meet 11am at the Canal end of the Meadows. All equipment provided for juniors and just €2 to join in. Interested adults welcome to come along too!

Draw 10.30am sharp. Fishing 12.30 to 5.30pm

Michael or Madman as he was affectionaley known was a childhood friend to many of our members and loved the river with a passion. This member only match is in memory of you bud.

In addition Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran is kindly coming along on Sunday to brief us on the progress of the Burgess Park Venue Development.

MADCAPS, Midlands Coarse & Pike Anglers are steadily growing, have some coached members to take juniors forward and are delighted to be working with other clubs and organisations in the area towards the development of angling venues.

We run a pike league in the winter and coarse for the summer. Our membership is just €10 and we charge no more for our open competitions keeping it affordable for all. Key for us is that we keep fishing fun!
