The World Pairs got off to a great start yesterday and some really smashing bags of bream at Bunerky helped to set the bar high for this years competition. The top weight in Brackley Lake was David Herron with 19.350kg.

The Current standings are as follows:

German pair  Jens Koschnick and Thorsten Kusters are leading the pairs competition on 64.980kg, about 3kg ahead of second placed Howell/Hilier and 10kg clear of Scott/Buchwalder in 3rd place.

Obviously it’s one of the Germans in top spot for the Daiwa Cu p – Jens Koshnick on a very solid 45.030kg. northern Ireland’s Nick Howell is not far behind on 39.960kg and Steve Fleming, England, just behind him on 38.325kg.
