Northern Ireland Cross Community Angling reports:
Sunday saw the first BAITS Project session of 2016 take place at Beechhill Fishery in Newtownards.
The participants were all Irish Language speaking from Cumann iascaireachta loch lao.
Despite the cold start to the day with the lake being frozen, by 11.00am fishing got underway.
Participants were all shown how to use the whip and the feeder method. Even with the cold temperatures everyone caught and went home happy and with new fishing learning.
We would just like to thank everyone who attended and all our coaches and volunteers who assisted.
