Ballyhaunis Angling Club finished off their winter league in style recently with Garry Doyle from Carlow bagging up on Hybrids and Roach on the river Suck, Garry fished a peg which is rarely put in during matches but due to the large number of anglers fishing the winter league extra pegs had to be put in. Fishing pole and feeder Garry had over 17 Kilos at the weigh in.

Garry Doyle from Carlow, Mark Leonard and Larry Parkes followed close behind.
Although the weather was not too kind everyone enjoyed the league, now for some warmer weather fishing.
Ballyhaunis Angling Club has recently changed its name to Sensas Connacht, it was thought that the new name would appeal to a wider field of anglers.
