The Polish Pole Angling Club fished their first match of the 2016 season this weekend at Athy. In all 17 anglers attended. Fishing was hard as the water level in the deepest section only 2-4 feet. But the weather was great all day and the fish were on the feed.
The results speak for themselves and some good weights were returned on the day with 1st place going Darius Karliunas’s 13.32kg.
Joining the Polish Pole AC were members of PANI AC who travelled from Northern Ireland and also a few member s of the Feeder Fishing Team.
Polish Pole AC gave there thanks to Athy & District anglers for letting them use the marina.
