Lurgan Coarse Angling Club reports:

First junior coaching session of the year on a wet and windy Lough Enagh, everyone caught some fish despite the tough conditions. Club members David Herron, Ciarán Haughian, Barry O Brien, Sean Donnelly and Philip Jackson all turned out to help. Also, a massive thank you to Keith Trimble of Loughview Angling Centre for kindly donating the bait!!!

More of these sessions will take place soon and more volunteers will be needed, please get in touch with Jacko if interested in helping out!!
Thanks to the parents for getting the kids out, if there are any more young angling enthusiasts out there get in touch through this page or give Jacko a shout on his Facebook page.
Remember, we need to encourage the kids out onto the bank or our club, and even our sport will have no future!!

Go Fishing…

Lurgan Coarse Angling Club

The club is one of the most successful in Ireland, having won all of the main team based match fishing competitions, in some cases several times, over the last decade. The club has also a long list of International Honours earned by its members.

The club is the current Drennan Superleague title holder, having won the last event in 2007.

Our objective is to promote coarse angling in the greater Lurgan and Craigavon area.
