Although the fishing was difficult Donamon proved the place to be as you can see from our picture above.

Sunday saw( Mr Perch king) Ollie Doyle take a bit of a lead with a win mainly consisting of his usual big perch followed closely by Brenton Sweeney with a normal mixed bag.

Day 2 with a switch of sections showed a marked improvement in the fishing with Mark Leonard taking the honours with a nice bag of quality roach for 4 Kilo and 60 grams, Garry Doyle took second place with a few nice Roach and would you believe it a massive Perch.

Final results for the 2 days were.

  1. Festival winner Mark Leonard
  2. Runner up Ollie Doyle
  3. Joint 3rd Garry Doyle and Brenton Sweeney

Section winners were

  • 2 section wins Larry Parkes
  • Alan Marrable and Dara Finegan.
