What an end to a fantastic 6 days of fishing on the Grand Canal Edenderry, it was all to play for going into the last day Friday with Del Hurst and Paul Hughes in first and second but with some good catches by Gareth Charnock, Jeff Stirrat and Danny Martin there was plenty of room for someone else to finish on top when the final all in was called.

Over €11,000 was paid out over the 6 days a phenomenal amount of money for canal festivals. Well done to all the sponsors and to Foy’s, Main Street, Edenderry.
