The Irish Federation of Sea Anglers report on the Ladies Munster qualifiers:
On Sunday, the Munster qualifiers for the Ladies ( pictured below) Under 16’s and Under 21’s took place on Passage East- Waterford. This was the third competition of four, which then determines who goes onto the Munster teams to fish the Interpros early next year.
Each province is different in how their teams qualify.
The fishing conditions were tough despite it being lovely weather.
The main species of the day were flounders and eel, with a few small bass here and there. All fish were released.
The next and final qualifier will take place in Lahinch in Co Clare in October.
