Last Weekend’s Giblin Cup Competition at Scarriff also saw some good quality fish landed. The overall winner caught a 3.5lb Trout on the fly.
The Mayfly is not fully up at present, however, anglers expect it to be this week – should the weather warm a little. Trout have not yet taken to the fly as such.
