The Fermanagh Classic Fishing Festival is currently underway, with some excellent fishing reported so far from the first two days. Winners on Day 1 were: Craig Brown from Ross-on-Wye, who weighed in the top weight of 32.59kg, for a prize of £500. Second on Day 1 was Stuart Northrop (St Neots) with 24.36kg and a cheque for £350, and third was Mathew Wise – Nuneaton with 23.78kg and a prize of £250. Dara Finnegal from Trim was 4th with 22.07kg, and he took home £150.

Local expert Tony Green took the top weight on Day 2, with 27.95kg, winning him £500. David Robinson from Barton-upon-Humber was 2nd, with 19.82kg, winning £350. Third place went to Phil Bardell from Milton Keynes with 18.35kg, and 4th was another Enniskillen man Paul Eyres with 17.75kg.

After Day 2, Tony Green tops the leaderboard with 39.92kg. Craig Brown is in 2nd, with 36.29kg while Carlow man Adrian Higginbottom is third with 32.27kg.
