A brief report from the 4 Day Killeshandra Festival, where fishing was very up and down, with great catches on some days followed by lean times at others. The winner was David Stewart, with a total of 37.65kg. After the first day David probably wouldn’t have relished his chances, with an opening catch of just 2.20kg, but a great second day saw him land 17.52kg, the second biggest total of the festival.

In second place was Andrew Lightbown, with 33.60 kg, a massive haul of 22.70 kg on the final day shooting him up the leaderboard. Keith Murphy was third with 22.76kg, while Francis McGoldrick was 4th with 22.12kg, and 5th place went to Graham Worley with 21.95kg.

Well done to all the competitors, and thanks to Donal Kelly and Alice Murtagh for the results.
