Stefan Martin from Killybegs Mariners SAC with more fishing adventures from Donegal Bay…

A definite nip in the air these nights but sea temperatures are still very high and summer species still roam the bay especially after the strong gales of late. Whiting and dabs moving inshore now to roam the same areas they frequent every winter just like the swallows of summer source their barns.

This Cuckoo ray was a lovely catch and a spotted ray from the same session quite similar but the cuckoo has a more rounded shape and just the two big black circles on the wings both released after pics back to Donegal Bay.
