Declan Gibbon from our Galway office reports that the week gone by saw less angling activity due to inclement weather conditions. Hopefully the drop in temperature won’t affect the duckfly hatches that shouldn’t be too far away .

On Saturday last Gerry Molloy ( loughcorriboughterard.com ) enjoyed a few hours fishing. He had good success on the brickeen landing four trout with the best being two and a quarter pounds. Gerry also enjoyed a few hours on Sunday afternoon landing two trout. Staying in the Oughterard area Kevin Molloy (087-9604170) reports of reasonably good fishing on the brickeen landing ten fish for three half days with the best fish being two and a half pounds.
