Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th May 2017.
Lough Melvin was hard work for trout it seems last week and reports tell of very sparse mayfly hatches. Weather conditions were very bright for most of the week and the fishing hard. It seems the only trout fishing sport that was to be had was with Sonaghan over the deep water drifts.
