Edenderry Coarse Angling Club reports on their first match of the season fished at the weekend…
18 anglers turned out today on Killeen. The roach didn’t play ball but the bream and tench did, looking good for the upcoming three day festival.

Sunday 3rd June Open draw 10am fishing 12pm to 5pm
Monday 4th June 3 day festival registration from 9.30am, draw 11am fishing 1pm to 6pm
Tuesday 5th June 2 day festival draw 10am fishing 12pm to 5pm
Wednesday 6th June draw 11am fishing 1pm to 6pm
Thursday 7th June draw 10am fishing 12pm to 5pm
Friday 8th draw 10am fishing 12pm to 5pm.
The new 3 day festival times are introduced this year to accommodate our visiting anglers and the Station house Edenderry will be available every morning for breakfast, and anglers who wish to have an evening meal can book their meal on draw day .

New members are always welcome to Edenderry Coarse Angling Club.
Apart from the 262 permanent swims that have been created for the match angler on this unique fishery, a number of stretches have been prepared to cater for the pleasure fisherman and the junior angler. Included among these is the famous Edenderry Branch Line. Fished 12 months a year, this highly productive venue regularly produces catches in excess of 50lb per session. Bream, tench, roach, rudd, hybrids, carp, perch and gudgeon are the principal fish species present.
