Padraig Carroll reports that on Tuesday, 14th August, Tullamore and District Anglers held their junior fishing competition on the Grand Canal at Pearse Park, Tullamore and had a great turnout as always and plenty of fish were caught.

- Joint 2nd Clodagh Power and Christopher Leavy .
- Joint 3rd Ciara Power and Aaron Collins
The final competition will be held on Sunday 26th of august at Pearse Park 12pm to 4pm. This competition is a charity event to finish off the league and is between past and present anglers with money raised going to the Irish Lung Foundation Association.
