Both the Clare Dragoon and Lady Gwen II  continue to get great fishing off the coast of Clare as the super conditions continue…

11 July: Clare Dragoon: Anchored up today and had a very quick few fish including this Conger but then it went very quiet so we headed out in search of bigger pollack. Once we got a bit of a drift with a dredging breeze we had quite steady fishing.

10 July: Clare Dragoon: Lovely day on the sea. Plenty Pollack although they fish best when the tide lets the Boat drift. Mackerel are like hens teeth but we did get a few today.

09 July: Lady Gwen IIA group of mostly Germans today with a couple of Irish. While the fishing wasn’t hectic, we did have a good few species, and lot’s of fish for the table.

08 July: Lady Gwen II The Midland Angling Club were on a species hunt today, and we had quite a few, including cod, ling, haddock, whiting, gurnard among others, and a quantity of nice pollock and coalies.

Clare Dragoon: A group of Clare Dragoon veterans back today. Started with a Mackerel drift the produced a trickle of fish. Then had a very busy Wrasse session with frank getting a very good one. Topped up the Mackerel and headed for the turn of the tide at the Tope. This was disappointing with only one Tope boated. Back out to the reefs tomorrow.

07 July: Lady Gwen IIGreat fishing after a bit of a search, but mackerel were scarce today.
