Fishing has improved greatly over the last few weeks in the Cavan area with plenty of Trout being caught in the region. Also good reports of nice Tench up to 6/7 lbs. Plenty of good Bream also.
The canal at Ballinamore and Drumcoura Lake is producing good bags of fish.
Anglers on Gulladoo report good Bream and plenty of them also good Tench up to 7lb.
