Inniscarra TDL reports on the O’Callaghans Cup…
29 May: Returning angler Stuart Pinder steals the O’Callaghans Cup on the final day! Stuart’s 26kg catch at the Garden Centre catapulted him from 22nd place to win the top prize sponsored by O’Callaghans Bar & Guest House. Leader from day one Mike Barlow finished up runner-up followed by Kevin Golightly in third position.
Just two of the 29 participating anglers are local with everyone else making the long journey across the water to take part. The camaraderie on the bank has been great, the food and hospitality fantastic added to some good fishing makes for a great angling holiday.
