TJ’s Angling Centre and Blackbay Lodge both report some excellent pike fishing in the last week with a lot of 90cm+ pike caught, good numbers of 100cm+ pike and one or two 110cm+ fish to top it off.
Large lures are working well and the windy and often overcast conditions we have been having lately mean that there is plenty of oxygen in the water and the fish aren’t as cautious as they tend to be in the bright, calm weather.
