Rooney point was the venue for Menapia Sea Angling Club’s latest club competition which produced mixed bags and proved tough for some anglers.

Sean Carley came out tops with 24 fish which included 15 dogs, small hounds and whiting.
Second place went to James Duffy with 19 fish and in third place was Brendan Wall also on 19 fish.


Junior Max Roche showed once again he can compete with the seniors with a good Bag of 14 fish.
Species on the night included dogs, hounds, gurnard, whiting, bass and dabs.
Brendan Wall took the Longest Fish with a 41cm hound.
