Luke Aston reports on the first day back on the water in 2019 for the Clare Dragoon of Carrigaholt Sea Angling:
First day back yesterday. It was lovely and calm. Water was just under 10c. We got just 3 or 4 Mackerel for a short drift in close. We moved around quite a bit to try out different reefs and the catch was mostly Pollack and Coalfish. We also got some whiting and small Codling. Fishing was not flat out but there was a steady flow to the boat.
